Grapesyard is offering excellent partnership opportunity to invest in promoting quality basic education for orphans and vulnerable in Korogocho slums through improvement of learning infrastructure in its popular community school in Korogocho slums.

Grapesyard is Kenyan charity founded in 1999. It is run byboard of directors, executive Director and three full time Managers. It started with a school (Grapesyard Education Centre) and has expanded to other child centered community programmes for orphans and vulnerable children living in informal settlements and economically challenged communities.

Mission:
To facilitate, provide and promote access to education, health and healthcare services to children in the informal settlements and economically challenged communities.

The school has traditionally posted good examination results using inadequate infrastructure but has managed to send many children to national and top county secondary schools through impressive examination results. Among its alumni is a medical doctor, engineers, graduate business administrators and teachers among others, thereby up lighting families and communities out of extreme poverty.

The school seek to complete one story classrooms building to further its performance exploits by slum children. The remaining works are plastering, painting, fixing guard rails and windows.

  • Child protection drop in centre.
